RL: League preview Good Friday

Souths will be trying to break a 36-year-hoodoo when they line up against the Bulldogs
in tomorrow night's NRL match at Telstra Stadium.

The Rabbitohs haven't won four games in a row to start a season since 1971 .. the last
year they won they premiership.

Souths are undefeated after three rounds .. with wins over the Roosters .. Parramatta
and Cronulla.

The match also contains the first confrontation between WILLIE MASON and DAVID KIDWELL
.. since their infamous clash at last year's Tri-Nations opener in Wellington.

KIDWELL was incensed by what he saw as MASON'S lack of respect for the pre-match Haka
.. and smashed the big forward in a tackle .. putting him out for several weeks.

In the other match tomorrow to open round four .. the Roosters clash with Brisbane
at Aussie Stadium in Sydney.

The two former powerhouses have had shocking starts to the season .. with both yet
to chalk up a win in 2007.
