Fibre-based communications services provider Level 3 Communications Inc (Nasdaq:LVLT) announced on Monday it has been selected to provide voice and high-speed IP services to QuamTel Inc's (OTCBB:QUMI) subsidiary WQN Inc, a provider of international calling cards distributed over the Internet.
No financial detail were disclosed.
Under the terms of the contract, Level 3 is providing WQN with toll-free IP and local inbound services, which facilitate the delivery of VoIP service to businesses and consumers with broadband connections.
The company also said it will provide WQN with high-speed Internet access with network connectivity up to 10Gb/s.
